Mrs. Wendy Zimmerman grew up in East Hampton and resides here now with her husband and three children, all of whom attended East Hampton Nursery School. Mrs. Zimmerman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and brings with her a great deal of classroom experience at a variety of age levels.  She has taught 5th grade, been a paraprofessional and a long term substitute in the East Hampton Public Schools, and worked in a day care center.  In addition to her professional experience, Mrs. Zimmerman has spent countless hours volunteering in the classrooms at EHNS, Memorial and Center Schools; with the PTO; and leading her own Girl Scout Troop.

Mrs. Patience Coleman also lives here in East Hampton with her husband and two children.  Mrs. Coleman's daughters both attended EHNS, and Mrs. Coleman volunteered often in the EHNS classroom.  During that time, Mrs. Coleman developed a love for working with preschool age children.  Mrs. Coleman also directs a dance studio in Middletown where she teaches multiple styles of dance to children of varying ages and skill levels.
